Irani Berry Pulao is a Parsi-style exotic dish that is served during weddings. Make this easy recipe at home and throw your own Parsi feast!
 
Ingredients:
1 CUP GHEE
1 CINNAMON STICK
5-6 CLOVES
2 CARDAMOMS
1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
1 CUP ONIONS
1 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
1 CUP MUTTON or CHICKEN STRIPS
1 CUP TOMATOES
1 TBSP GREEN CHILLIES
1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
1/2 TSP CUMIN POWDER
1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER
1/2 TSP SHAHI GARAM MASALA
SALT TO TASTE
150G SOAKED RICE
2 TBSP ZERESH BERRIES or DRIED CRANBERRIES
100G FRIED ONIONS
20ML MILK
50ML WATER
1 TBSP MINT LEAVES
1 TBSP CORIANDER LEAVES
 
Method:
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin, and onions.
Saute and add ginger garlic paste. Cook the onions until they turn golden brown, then add the chicken or mutton strips.
Cook the meat for 10 minutes, then add tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, shahi garam masala, salt and soaked rice.
Saute this mix and add Zeresh berries, almonds, fried onions, milk and water. 
Mix well, and cover to cook until the pulao is ready. Top with mint leaves and coriander leaves.
